Arriving in Aspen from southwest Colorado in 1958 to start a new life in the Rockies Mountains, Nina Paas and her sons Glen and Leroy built a family ski lodge right on Wagner Park, in the heart of town. The Limelite Lodge became a landmark, remaining under the same family ownership for nearly five decades. Now, with a fourth generation taking the helm, the Paas family is rebuilding, creating a new, modern, 126-room lodge with a new spelling — the Limelight Lodge — along with the 14 exquisite private homes at Monarch on the Park.
